Who we are

Manbo Asongwe of Vodou Ayisyen, Kay Thellot is initiated in Ayiti. She has worked for more than 15 years in psychosocial intervention with youth and their families and has always been concerned with cultivating empowerment through creating and disseminating workshops.

​

Along with her spiritual training, she holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology.  

​

Founder of Prensip Minokan and a Canadian Certified Counsellor of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, Kay Thellot places the individual and community well-being of Afro-descendants at the heart of her interventions. Prensip Minokan draws on ancestral Afro-Indigenous knowledge for decolonizing mental health care.
